Etching Studio

Etching Studio established by Lawrence Jenkins in 1986 when Lawrence bought a Harry Rochat press. The Studio is situated on a farm just to the north of the A25 between Seal and Kemsing. Lawrence editions for artists as well as himself Lawrence has printed for many artists including Graham Clarke, Andrew Freeth, John Lessor, Leon Kossof, and Ronney Wood. The studio is large enough for six etchers to use at a time. Thursday lunch time is a good time to visit to see the studio in use. Just bring your sandwich and a bottle of wine. Alternatively visit the studio during South East Open Studios or November Small Print Show to see the work of the etchers who frequently use the studio. Any other time needs to be arranged with Lawrence.
Courses in making etching plates and the techniques of printing are run on a regular basis on Wednesday and Thursday. There is a Saturday workshop for people who have attended courses.

Lindy Webster runs Saturday courses on the 1st & 3ed Saurday of the Month.
